I chose Alice Walker because she is an inspirational black writer who has overcome struggles all throughout her life. only to become successful in the end. She is one of my mom’s favorite authors and she is famous for her award winning novel “The Color Purple.” I learned a lot about her and the different aspects of her wiritng in camoparison to other famous writers.

I was born in Houston Texas, on June 18th 1990. My family and I moved to GA about eleven years ago, and we have lived here since then. I have a dog named Benzo, and a sister named Ashley. I am in eleventh grade of high school, and ready for senior year! I feel like these last three years of high school have gone by so fast, but i couldn’t be happier that we graduate next year. One thing i really like about our school is the video production class. We have an outstanding teacher and i have learned so much that, hopefully, will able me to get a career of my choice. I hope that all the life lessons i have learned these past few years, will prepare me for the real world. I am extremely excited, but scared at the same time, about going to college. As long as my lack of discipline doesn’t get the best of me, i should be able to avoid flunking out. I wish the best of luck to all the seniors this year, and hope that they will live their lives to the fullest.
